Cookies and local storage are different browser technologies. The educational pages are designed to work without advertising trackers or saved contact drafts.

What these technologies do

A cookie is a small piece of information a website can ask your browser to store and send with later requests. Local storage keeps information in your browser for scripts on the same site to use. Session storage is similar but usually limited to a browsing session. These technologies can support essential functions or optional activities such as analytics and advertising.

The purpose matters more than the label. Calling a technology “local” does not automatically make every use essential or exempt it from applicable consent rules.

What the page code uses

The site’s own page script does not set cookies, use local storage or use session storage. It handles the mobile menu, scroll reveals and the local message composer. It does not include analytics, advertising pixels, embedded social feeds or third-party scripts.

Browser features used by the supplied pages
FeaturePurposePersistence
Menu stateShow or hide mobile navigationCurrent page only
Composer textPrepare a plain-text notePage memory; not saved by the script
ClipboardCopy text when requestedControlled by your device
Downloaded fileSave a note when requestedUntil you remove the file

Clipboard and file downloads are not cookies. Your browser may also cache files or restore form entries independently of this page’s script.

Hosting and separate consent controls

Hosting or security services may operate separately from the page code. If a separate consent control is presented by the website’s delivery system, use it to manage the optional technologies it describes. Any non-essential processing should follow the applicable consent requirements and the information shown in that control.

This page does not claim to identify settings introduced by your browser extensions, network or external websites. Ordinary server requests and logs are explained further in the privacy notice.

Manage your browser data

You can review and clear this site’s cookies and storage through your browser’s privacy or site-data settings. Instructions differ between browsers and versions. Clearing site data can remove preferences created by any separate consent system. It does not delete email you have sent, copied text held elsewhere or files you have downloaded.

If you used the contact composer on a shared device, clear the clipboard if appropriate and remove downloaded notes you no longer need. Closing the page is not the same as deleting a saved file. Private browsing may reduce some local persistence, but it is not a guarantee of anonymity.

External links and questions

Following an external link takes you to another operator’s website, which may use its own cookies and consent controls. Review that site’s information before enabling optional features.
